Message Tracking database

I receive the following error when accessing Message Tracking in Exchange 2003:

The tracking database on "server name" is not available or the message has left the Exchange organization.

Facility:  Microsoft Exchange Management
ID no: c1032751
Microsoft Exchange Management.

Message tracking is enabled.  It is a cluster environment and i have restarted the services as well as failing the cluster over to the other node.

Hi,

What directory have you set to store the message tracking log? Can you check the permissions for this directory? Does "server name" refer to your cluster correctly?

EX03.log (cluster name).  Share permissions = local admins, domain admins full control.  NTFS permissions = everyone full control

I still haven't found a resolution to this issue.   Any other ideas?
Have you tried disabling and re-enabling message tracking? You can backup to log file first. You might want to consider contacting Microsoft Product Support Services for this but I'll see if I can get one of the MVP's here to take a look at this.

Yes, i've disabled and re-enabled message tracking.  I've moved the log files as well.
