Exchange Server 2007 losing connection to the Global Catalog server
Hi we have just had Exchange 2007 installed on a Windows 2003 R2 server. We have a single domain with 2 domain controllers of which 1 is the global catalog server. Now once a day the Exchange server 2007 stops working stating that it cannot find a global catalog server. On rebooting the main DC which is the catalog server Exchange 2007 works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, OK I increased the logging and the only warnings that I have been getting relating to ADAcess are as follows:
Process STORE.EXE (PID=3056). Object CN=SMTP,CN=809,CN=Address- Templates, CN=Address ing,CN=Sal e Grammar,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Co nfiguratio n,DC=sale, DC=com was not found on the Domain Controller sale-fs2.sale.com. This may indicate a replication or permission issue.
I have done a FRSDiag on the 2 servers and completed full replication without any problems, so I don't
know why this is there.
In the AD Config events all seem fine, e.g.
Domain Controllers: sale-fs1.sale.com
sale-fs2.sale.com
Global Catalogs: sale-fs1.sale.com
sale-fs2.sale.com
Configuration Domain Controller: sale-fs2.sale.com.
Topology Version 58, Topology provider: DSAccessTopologyProvider.
I am not sure if things have settled after I added another Global Catalog server.

You didn't state it, but I'm assuming we are talking about 3 servers, a stand alone 2003 server running Exchange and then 2 other 2003 servers that are the DC's (one being a GC). Is that correct?
