during mailbox move from exchange 2003 to exchange 2007 i m getting given below error on few mailboxes:

I don't want to cut the pst and move the mailbox as it cause lot of issues later on.

sorry to add one more thing. it stucks while moving the message from any Folder e.g. from Inbox. It shows "Moving Inbox (67/340)" and then hangs while moving 67th item and then the above mentioned error comes.

Does this happen for a single mailbox, or any mailbox?
From what i've seen there are a couple of causes for this. Either an actual network issue, or database corruption.

Some solutions:
1. Migrate the mailbox with exmerge
- Export mailbox data with Exmerge, or manually to PST
- Then do a move-mailbox with the "-configurationonly" option
- Import the mail

2. Update NIC and or NIC drivers, replaced hub/switch, etc.

3. Took database offline and run eseutil /g (corruption check) - Or "Isinteg -fix" to repair any logical layer inconsistencies.

Option 1 might be the best/easiest, if you are only hitting this problem on large mailboxes. This way you don't lose any configuration data, but you are moving the actual email data manually. You basically just move an empty mailbox with all config data, then import the email data manually.

I am facing the same problem, its only happen with few mail boxes. i already move some mail boxes their size was 15 GB to 20 GB. these mail boxes are around only 5 to 8GB .

Can you explian step 3 in more detail. it could be a data corruption. is there any harm if try to repair before moving to exchange 2007

Same here. I am currently running my isinteg on my target server.  Wondering if i should run it on both servers..

aarshadaa2005  the following are examples, you need to change the paths.
"isinteg -s servername -fix -test alltests"
"eseutil /g d:\exchange\mbx.edb"

Ive had this error when doing an SBS migration from 2003 to 2009, I gave full control rights to the store on the 2003 server to the 2007 servers computer account in active directory. i.e. in system manager expand the 2003 server and right click on mailbox store and click on properties. go to the security tab and click advanced. from there add the computer account of the new exchange server and give the account full control.
Once id done that the mailboxes moved successfully.
