Browse All TopicsThis is Exchange Server 2003 SP2 running fine otherwise (except for another problem sending email through an external SMTP server that no one has been able to help me on), on Windows Server 2003 SP2.
There are about 5 users with Windows Mobile devices using OMA to receive email, as well as on Outlook 2003 clients. One of the users (and I've seen it a few times for one of the other users) generates the following Event in the Application log of the Exchange server, anywhere from a couple times a day up to 10-15 times in one day:
Log: Application
Type: Error
Event: 11312
Source: MSExchangeActiveSyncNotify
Category: OMA Push Event Sink
Computer: EXCHANGE_SERVER
Description: The device information file could not be retrieved from the user's mailbox. The URL for the item is <file://./backofficestorag
(Domain/user names have been changed for privacy).
The user has not complained of not being able to open any of these items. They are not receiving any really large attachments, strange/corrupt emails, etc. They are legit emails from legit senders. It's not any real/immediate problem, however, the error is annoying and I'd like to get rid of it! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need any more info.

I'm not sure if this is useful but i found these in another solution:
echnet/pro dtechnol/e xchange/20 03/ autd.ms px "
"Later it was found that if on the device we have "Always Up To Date" enabled and on the Exchange Server the same is disabled then we get Event 11312"
Another one:
"Disable SMS AUTD for the user.
Then use the AUTD binding cleanup tool to remove the bindings for this user.
