Integrate OWA 2007 with Sharepoint WSS 3.0

We have both a WSS 3.0 installation and Exchange 2007. I have read ways there you can integrate the two enabling users to view their inbox or calendar in Sharepoint web parts? How is this accomplished?

I attempted to enable "Integrated Windows Authentication" on the virtual directory for OWA, but it still requires the users to login again. Is there any way to have the users automatically login so if they are already logged in to Sharepoint, it gives them access to their OWA without logging in again?

yes, in the internet options, you can go to the security tab, in whatever security zone the user is logging into the site from (internet zone, intranet zone, etc) go to the bottom of the security options.  There you will see an option to log in using current username and password, ie. the windows credentials.  This will stop the annoying login everytime.

I actually already have this option enabled since our Sharepoint site is classified as "Internet". It automatically logs them in to the site using current credentials. I would like to embed their mailbox into Sharepoint as a webpart if possible, and currently it just displays the OWA login page in the web part.

The address of your OWA server should be in the intranet zone to autologin with curent credentials.

The reason you are still required to login to OWA is becase you have forms authentication turned on. If you switch that to windows integrated authentication, it will automatically login your users if they have the owa site in the intranet zone with login with current username and password in internet explorers advanced settings.
