A user left on vacation but forgot to set up his out of office assistant. Is there a way for me (an administrator) to set this up for the user without knowing their password.
Pleas provide instructions (and remember, i have exchange 2007!)

You can give your account full mailbox access to their account, then, using the outlook profile setting in the control panel, create a new mailbox profile with their details and then open that profile. You will then be abe to acess their out of office settings.
Then you can remove your access from their account.
using exchange 2007 system manager, find their mailbox under Recipient Configuration, Mailbox.
Right click on their user account and select manage full access permissions
Click the Gree Add button and search for your account and then add, then Manage to save the changes.
You can then add the user's mailbox into a new outlook profile.

It might just be easier as the administrator to reset the users password either let them know, or get the current one and login through OWA and set it up for them.
