System mailboxes

Hi all,

Can I safely delete System Mailboxes that was linked to removed exchange servers. I have about 4 system mailboxes that I see was linked to Information stores that no longer exist. I'm not sure why these mailboxes wasn't deleted when the Information Stores were removed.

I presume you have already removed the exchange server and all other objects related to it from the active directory as well as the exchange box. If you still those SystemMailbox(xxxxx) objects in AD you can simply go ahead and remove them without any problems. I suspect a manual removal of the exchange server from some box when these SystemMailbox objects from AD were not deleted manually.
