Exchange 2007 and SSL Certificate Issues.

Hi Experts,

I am using Exchange 2007 with "Exchange Connector" to retrieve mails from my Yahoo Bizmail Server using POP.
I have also created Send connector to route all the outgoing mails from Exchange Server to Yahoo Bizmail SMTP server.

So in Short, I am using Exchange for internal distribution purpose. Sending and Receieve Mails are done by Yahoo Bizmail Server through POP and SMTP protocol.

I am running Exchange Server on a Dynamic IP with the help of Dynamic DNS services domain. (www.dyndns.com)

I can successfully use OWA using dynamic address Eg https://vnet.mine.nu/owa and send and receieve mails.

Now the problem is, its asking for SSL certificate and everytime I access https://vnet.mine.nu it show Continue without certificate RED color error.

I understand I have to buy certificate from third party to avoid those error but I don't need such kind of security.

Is there any workaround to generate your own certificate for Exchange 2007 or running OWA on Http instead of HTTPS.

If you happen to have your own CA, that would be best so you could manage the validity of the cert better, but sounds like that might be more than what you are looking for. If you want to know more about this, let me know and I can add more in the morning.

Since its all internal, you can use a self-signed certificate - read this through - its a little long, but you will become familiar with the process and the caveats, including instructions on how to create (search text for "Generating Self-Signed Certificates"):
