Exchange 2003 - Allow automatic Replies for specific accounts

Hi

At present we have "Allow automatic Replies" in Exchange disabled (as default) within Internet Message Format and we know how to enable but would like to do so and still be in control of who can send auto replies from Outlook. Please can someone advise if this is possible so that we can let some mailboxes auto reply and stop the rest?
