Remove a single email from all Exchange 2007 mailboxes.

One of our VP's would like a email that was sent out removed from all Exchange 2007 mailboxes in our network.  He tried the recall, but some of them didn't work.  Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

If the mail was still comming in you would setup a transport rule, however as it's not you're stuck, best you can do is manually go in & remove the mailboxes (manage full access permissions).

I think you are out of luck, there is no easy way to do it.

By the time you manually access all mailboxes and delete the email it would have been read anyway

Yes, we know it has been read, we just want to make sure that there are no copies of it in anyone's exchange profile.  We have asked everyone to delete them, but just want to make sure.
I am thinking that the Export-Mailbox task from the Exchange Management Shell will do the trick.
Read the section titled "Searching for and removing content from a mailbox" in the link in the first response.
You'll need powershell, but if it's Exchange 2007 presumably you have already installed it.

Prior to Exchange 2007, Exmerge would have been the way to do this.

Its easy , just use Exmegre.
