I just recently installed Exchange 2007 on Windows 2008 servers in a SCC cluster. The cluster works fine and it does fail over correctly. All the validation tests pass.
Whenever I try to mount a database (doesn't matter which one), I get a warning message that says:

However, I'm a little confused by it. Here's my setup:
Mail3 - Physical Server
Mail4 - Physical Server
Cluster name: Mail7 (this is what I see at the top when I open Failover Cluster Management and I think that's what the management tools use to connect to the cluster).
Under Services and Applications
-Mail2 (that's the name Outlook clients will use to connect to)
Under Nodes
-Mail3
-Mail4
I went to Services and Applications, Mail2, Other Resources, then I selected the ABCT storage group/mailbox store. I went to Properties, then Dependencies tab. There, here's what I see:
-Exchange System Attendant Instance (mail2)
-First Storage Group/Mailbox Database (mail2)
-IP Address: 172.16.0.4
-Name: Mail2
-Second Storage Group/Public Folder Database (mail2)
The article and the warning message are talking about disk depencies. I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right thing. I tried to select Mail2 and mount the database again but the same error message.
All Resources show up as "Online" (green) under Services and Applications, Mail2.

It is the cluster disk resource which is been created when you configure the windows cluster known as quorum or alternate LUN which is presented to hold the database. This should be a shared disk between the server.

Had to assign the physical disk to the Mail2 cluster group. (took Mail2 Application offline in Cluster Management). Then I had to configure dependencies for the storage group/database.
1. Take the CMS Offline (if not already). Open the Exchange Management Shell and run the following command.
Stop-ClusteredMailboxServe
2. Open Failover Cluster Management, expand the cluster node and click on Storage. Right click on the disk resource to be moved, point to More Actions& and click Move this resource to another service or application.
3. Select the CMS and click OK. Repeat this process for each disk resource to be used by Exchange (DB and Logs).
4. Bring the CMS online by running the following command in Exchange Management Shell.
Start-ClusteredMailboxServ
5. Click on CMS (mail2) under Services and Applications. Select the Storage group/database and click on properties for storage group/database under Action Pane.
6. Click Insert on the Dependencies tab of Storage Group/Mailbox Database properties.
7. Select the database disk for this storage group from the drop down menu, Repeat the process for log disk resource. Click Ok.
8. Repeat the above process for each Storage group/Database.

you should select the physical Disk (the SAN lun that is assigned to the server itself) e.g X or Y drives on the server.
