We had similar problems, when migrating users from one server to another. It's the way outlook cache works. You'll need to clear it out. I've provided a link. You can also do what kieran_b suggested too.

Hi Experts,
Having troubles with a clients SBS2003 running exchange 2003. Email messages are bouncing back to my client when he types in an address that he has previously sent to. ***What changed I had to move the store from one partition to another for more room This was working fine until I had to switch over for the isp account to be the sender/receiver so I had created that with the pop 3 connector.
It looks like some domains are not accepting mail when he is trying to send and is receiving the following error as is -
The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address.

Okay - so it looks like the problem is switching over to your ISP for sending out emails from what you have said.
In this case, the ones that fail can be delivered by creating another SMTP connector for your organisation and sending the emails out directly using DNS - add their domains on the Address Space tab.
This way, most mail will go externally to your ISP and the rest (the ones you choose) will go directly.

Okay - so it looks like the problem is switching over to your ISP for sending out emails from what you have said.
The email needs to be seen as client@bigpond.com Here is the comments from the clients as to what is happening.
Comment 1 - It definitely has something to do with the names not being in the drop down list. When I reply to an email that Mr Client sent it does not bounce back .
Comment 2 - cant send unless it recognises the name on drop down, or replying to an email sent.
I have created a smtp connector I did 2 actually one with a wildcard and one with bigpond.com one of the main domains that cant be sent to at the moment.
What happens if you delete the address from his previous typed addresses and try again?
I had a limited remote logon to the clients laptop I typed in the address it did not show as being used before and receieved a bounce back straight away, also another one in his contacts list also I chose I receievd a bounce back.
I am concerned that if I clear out the cache as suggested above that they will lose the ability to send except reply is this the case?
It looks like it does work locally..... I found info on Friday and tried the same as you have to telnet to the ip address externally but no joy.
I also recall reading that some ISP's don't allow that but that could be just one persons opinion though. what if I create port 2525 to eliminate blocking on port 25? I don't think that is the problem as I believe when Bigpond provides you with a static ip address blocking is not enforced.
Is there a test I can run in terms for checking that it is forwarding correctly?
