You can restore it to subfolder using Restore-Mailbox command :
Restore-Mailbox -RSGMailbox 'John Smith' -RSGDatabase 'RSG\Mailbox Database' -id 'John Smith' -TargetFolder 'Email Restore'
Ref : http://technet.microsoft.c
I have followed all of the steps at: http://www.msexchange.org/
What I am trying to do is restore the full contents of all messages and subfolders contained messages under UserA's Inbox to a PST or simply to a TEMP subfolder under UserA's inbox?
Is this eally so hard to do?
We are running Exch2007 SP1 on Win2003 x64
Thanks!

"jn1480"...here is a doc that I created for my org on restoring mailbox contents of "UserA" to "UserB" mailbox. I've tested this several times and it works. It creates a subfolder called "Restore" in "UserB's" mailbox, much like the 'Archive' folder for pst's. Pay special attention to step 11. This is almost the same procedure as in the link you provided, but I believe is a bit more simplistic. I left out the part where you do a restore of the DB the mailbox is associated with as that is something outside the scope of your question and is dependent on the backup solution you have.
