Exchange 2007 CCR Fails due to inconsistent version

Exchange 2007 CCR new installation, co-existing with Exchange 2003 organization.

Everythiing appears to be running, active node & passive both reporting.  Storage Group Copy is Healthy & logs ARE replicating.

When attempt to move CMS to passive node, failure occurs stating that there is a version inconsistency.

Windows updates reports no updates available for either server.
