Exchange ActiveSync returned an HTTP 500 Error
Hi,
I have only tryed to configure Exchange Activesync (mobile access) on Windows 2003 Small Business Server - its all wizard based so that easy.
Now I try to do the same on a WIndows 2003 Enterprise server, with exchange 2003 sp2 installed.
I have used the Exchange Connectivity test tool, and I'm getting this error:
Attempting FolderSync command on ActiveSync session
FolderSync command test failed
Tell me more about this issue and how to resolve it
Additional Details
Exchange Activesync returned an HTTP 500 response.
I have looked at the microsoft article but it says that I need to disable form based authentication - i can't understand that it should be nessercary because I can use it on Small Business server with form based authentication enabled.
So what do i need to configure?
Regards, Steffen.

But this isnt a sbs enviroment, its a WINk3 enterprise with exchange 2003 sp2 enterprise..
The same principals apply.
Yes Alan is right you can do that on Exchange Enterprise as well...also check this site to virtualise your activesync connection....www.testexchangeconnectivity.com and see where exactly it fails
XCHExpert - FYI - My FAQ covers that site - I know I have not explicitly linked to the site - but I got bored of copying and pasting from a Word Document into EE questions and added the FAQ section to my website instead. :-)

I have now tryed to follow the step in method 2 in KB817379 and created a secound virtual exchange directory. Still same issue when I test the connectivity at https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/

Do you actually need Forms Based Authentication?
The 500 error is a Bad Request message.
Is your default website set to port 80?
