Exchange 2007 SSL Cert Issue (Go Daddy Cert)

Asked by asiuser in Exchange Email Server, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) & HTTPS, Microsoft IIS Web Server

Tags: Microsoft Exchange 2007, SSL Certificate

We are using Go Daddy to host the SSL cert.  Installed the cert on Exchange 2007 (single server deployment), cert works fine for OWA, but not for Outlook Anywhere.

When I attempted to open Outlook 2007 after making the changes for Outlook Anywhere I get the following error message:
"There is a problem with the proxy server's security certificate.  The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the target site mail.mydomain.com
Outlook is unable to connect to the proxy server. (Error Code 0)"

My internal domain is myinternaldomain.local and external is mydomain.com.

I ensure the certificate has both the internal FQDN and external FQDN.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
