Configuring SCR on VMware

Hi Expert,

I want to deploy SCR on a VMWare environment. This is for lab purpose so will prefer freely available software or beta version.  I have few doubts as listed below:

1. Which version of VMWare I need to install on my PC also which OS?
2. How many node does a vm supports?
3. Could you please help me with a link where I can find the steps of deploying SCR on VM?

Thanks a lot for the answer. Can we use other VM version apart from ESX or GSX? Like VMware workstation/server? Could you please post the details on how to configure it on VM workstation/server?

You could... but I would not recommend in production.. I run SCR\CCR on Server 2.0 in a lab.. works well but only for testing.

Yeah, I want to implement in my lab only for testing purpose. I've gone through the link but it doesn't give the steps in detail and moreover it's only for CCR. Any other link you want me to follow?
