Ok - more info would be helpful for when I get approval for the expense....
thanks,
Bobby
Hi I have a network with 3 back-end exchange servers.
Each server has it's own OWA address on the internet, and windows mobile and iPhones connect to all 3.
2 of these servers currently have GeoTrust Premium SSL certificates, the other one is self-signed. The GeoTrust certs are expensive, and the self-signed server seems to be working ok (although I think the PDA users get an certificate warning that they have to click past when they connect to the server).
Should I invest the money to get a GeoTrust SSL cert for the 3rd server and bring it in line with the other 2?
Thanks,
Bobby

I wouldn't spend the money on the GeoTrust or Verisign certificates when you can get GoDaddy certificates for US$70/year. http://CertificatesForExch
I wouldn't use a self signed certificate for anything client facing either.

The GeoTrust certificates will be more compatible. Plus if you are getting the certificate error on PDAs then the certificate is not properly trusted. So yes you should spend the money and get the better certificate.
