SBS 2008 POP3 Connector

Hi There

I am getting the following error in event viewer when trying to download email via the sbs2008 pop3 connector:-

An error occurred while delivering mail to 'user@domain.co.za' on the SMTP server 'localhost'. The error code was 0x800ccc69. Verify that the mailbox exists and that the Exchange receive connectors are configured properly.

The mailbox definately does exist.

Any Help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Some good tips on how to troubleshoot:

Did you create your users via the Wizards or manually?  Everything SBS should be done via the Wizards!!

Thanks, will have a look at the link. Everything was done through the wizard
If that is of no use - please let me know.

I have tried setting the domain as authorative but if I do then I cant send emails to people with the same address as my domain who exist outside my exchange organisation.Domain is tlfkzn.co.za and is set to "Internet Relay"(Default), tlfkzn.local is set to authorative. Tried changing smtp port in Internet receive connector to 587 which hasnt helped.

Do you have a valid link for http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive...re-trusted-smt
p-relay-in-exchange-on-sbs-2008.aspx ?

Thanks
This article should provide you with the answer (Sharing SMTP Address Space):

Sharing the address space works fine. I will be having a look at another Server where the POP3 Connector works fine and note differences in my configuration. If you have any ideas in the meantime let me know.

Thanks
Does that sort your POP3 problem out?

Nope..POP3 connector still unable to download emails
Might be worth trialling an alternative product for testing at least?  One I have used before is POPCon:
