OWA 2007 does not work after renewal of self-signed certificate

i had to renew the ssl certicate as it expired after one year. it replaced the expired cert, all details are correct. now OWA does not work. page cannot be displayed. IIS is working. please help

did you do IISRESET after installig the new certificate
What about https://mail.xyz.com/exchange doest it give you log in page.

had to set ssl cert as the one responsible for OWA. it now works
