I am recieving copies of the below error message:
Event Type: Warning

A route to Mailbox server CN=FORD,CN=Servers,CN=first administrative group,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=Domain,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=Domain,DC=Domain,DC=co,DC=uk could not be found for store CN=Public Folder Store (FORD),CN=First Storage Group,CN=InformationStore,CN=FORD,CN=Servers,CN=first administrative group,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=Domain,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=Domain,DC=Domain,DC=co,DC=uk in routing tables with timestamp 11/6/2009 10:17:55 AM. I know that this error message was caused during the move from Exchange 200 to Exchange 2007 via 2003. I didnt think that i un-gracefully removed the server, but something obviously was not right. Everything has been running ok for past 1 year, except these error messages.
Following advice from ee i went through ADSIEdit and found reference to the old FORD server (which is no longer in the domain at all) in the following place: Configuration/Services/Exchange/Domain/Admin Groups/First Admin Group/Servers/ford/Information Store
Is it safe to delete these 2 refernces? or should i do something else, as mentioned email system has been fine for over 1 year.
Many thanks

I would think so, that it will be safe to delete the references for a object which doesn't exist any more - but
Take a full backup and be safe for any troubles
