sbs 2003 / Exchange /outlook email access problem.

I moved the priv1.edp file to another partition, and called the containing folder d:/ exchange, this was a fairly simple step using the provided BROWSE to new folder option

I changed the priveleges on the new folder for Administrators, Authenticated Users, Server Operators and SYSTEM, as advised in a seperate article.

Now when I access mail from the web (http:/ip/exchange) I have a problem, No Icons and no Javascript, ie. I can open mails but when I try to send  or delete a mail nothing happens.  

I also installed some updates to exchange and SBS and did not notice the problem until I moved the DB, so the problem might be caused by the updates - but I don't think so.

I am wondering if I have to recreate the virtual directories, and if I do will I loose any old mail files.

I am a bit new to SBS.
