One mailbox not receiving emails
Hey Guys,
I am sending emails to one of the mailboxes on exchange 2007, and I keep getting the following report:
#550 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver: The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service reported an error. Is this error internal, external, or both?
ASKER
Yes both internal and external
Shivtek,
May I suggest holding off on this one until your other open questions are cleared? It could very easily be that the routine maintenance you are trying to establish takes care of this. If it doesn't, just repost here, and we can troubleshoot it at that time. I never like to try to troubleshoot too many issues all at once.

Actually this one is most important, I would really appreciate if this was resolved first.
If this is the only user who has problem, and if you have verified all settings are correct (not missing email addresses or the like), and if you don't want to wait for your routine maintenance to be set up and running per your other open requests, I can only think of one "quick and dirty" fix:
backup the mail in it, then delete the mailbox, recreate the mailbox, and import the mail
Now, before you do this, please understand that I can in no way guaranty it will fix the problem. Hopefully another Expert can chime in and assist before having to do this.

How do I backup all the email in the mailbox, and how would I import?
I do have acronis ms exchange agent, but will it be easier to do it using something in exchange?

I would just use exmerge to export to a PST and then import it back in. to use exmerge in an Exchange 2007 environment, see this article:

Alternately, PowerShell can export to PST as well. Here is the "How to" as provided by Microsoft:

Users can't even open emails in that mailbox
OK... Users can't open emails on that original mailbox about which this Question was opened or can't open emails in the newly created mailbox?

I never backed up the emails, and deleted the mailbox, because its a very important database, can we not just repair that mailbox?
ASKER
I can see mail in all folder under that mailboxes inbox, it just has something to do with "inbox" and that probably what is causing the NDR to trigger, as all new messages are delivered to inbox
could you please tell us what service pack is installed on your exchange 2007 ?
