Exchange 2003 issue

Hi,

My exchange 2003 sp1 server had an issue yesterday, the event log says
"Information Store (5680) First Storage Group: The database C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv1.edb has reached its maximum size of 16383 MB. If the database cannot be restarted, an offline defragmentation may be performed to reduce its size."

I then tried to install the exchange 2003 sp2 and then while installing the same I received an error  "Setup failed while installing sub-component Exchange ActiveSync with error code 0xC0070643 ". When I pressed "cancel" the remainign steps got completed and exchange is working now. But I wanted to know how we can resolve these two issues
1) priv1.edb has reached its maximum size of 16383 MB.
2) Exchange ActiveSync with error code 0xC0070643
Is there any setup procedure.  Somehow exchange is working now.
