Issue with Outlook 2007 clients - "The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site"
Ok.. we're using a single domain, renolec.com.
I have an exchange 2007 server (fully patched) that has been working fine.. or so I thought. We recently put the first Outlook 2007 clients out, and we get a pop up certificate error about the name being invalid, or not matching the name of the site.
I've seen this issue covered on here before, and it would seem that I'm close to fixing it with those solutions, but I don't know "exactly" what my issue is. I've followed MS KB940726 many times now, with varied results but still nothing has made the pop-up error go away.
Our internal server name is MS1. FQDN is MS1.RENOLEC.COM.
I can't even find more details on what specifically is wrong, and really needing help!! Here is a graphic of the cert error:

Your cert needs the name space of MS1.RENOLEC.COM and not just MS1
Sense this is a self-signed cert just create a new one with the correct namespace of MS1.RENOLEC.COM

Thanks for the response!

It's working as expected now! I owe you a debt of gratitude, and the points.
I wish that I had stumbled upon that command hours ago..
