Can I use a wildcard certificate for OWA and Active Sync on both Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2010?
I am migrating from exchange 2003 to exchange 2010. My exchange 2003 server doesn't have a certificate. My OWA/Active Sync is just "HTTP". My exchange 2010 server by default is setup to use HTTPS. I will need both servers to coexist for a few weeks. For Co-existence to work would I have to install an SSL Certificate on the exchange 2003 server as well? If so can I just purchase a wildcard certificate to install on both servers? Lastly, what is the default certifcate that exchange 2010 installs by default for? Thanks

Ok, but right now my AS doesn't use https on exchange 2003. My Active Sync on the phones use just "mail.domain.com", and the box that says "This Server requires an encrypted (SSL) connections" is unchecked.
Basicially this is where I am at, all my users are currently on Exchange 2003. I have an Exchange 2010 server setup right beside it ready to start migrating users.
Do I need to install a certificate on the Exchange 2003 server for coexistence to work? This is what I am not sure on. If so, can it be one SAN certificate that I install on both servers? Thanks
