rejected emails sbs 2003

Have a customer who gets emails rejected

Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 This message contains a virus (Heuristics.Phishing.Email.SpoofedDomain). (state 18).

Some emails from Google Mail get through, some don't

Any ideas?

Thanks
Jim

Probably third party AV software either false positive or correctly catching virus?

Do you run ClamAV at all?

Shaun

server does not run ClamAV - in fact not running any AV - still pushing that sale on the customer!

tried to get to: testexchangeconnectivity.com/ - site gives 403 forbidden
Can you do this

Go to testexchangeconnectivity.com/
Click on Inbound Email
Enter your email address and run a set of tests.

Please ignore if you've already tested inbound email.

inbound mail test works fine. user recieved test email ok

Mail is routed via Names.co.uk's MXProtect SMTP server - you might have a point that it isn't failing at our server! Didn't think of that! Doh!

will contact Names
Glad I could help.  :)  Hopefully you get some resolution from them, because that definitely looks like a spam-filter block to me...and likely not YOUR spam-filters.
Ask them if they run ClamAV?!
