Some Existing users don't have Exchange accounts in 2007

For some reason a large selection (20% - about 100 students) never got their Exchange accounts created as part of the bulk creation of accounts at the start of the year.
Most of those who seem to have logged in earlier did get their accounts automatically created however now the ones logging and using Outlook for the first time can't link up their Exchange Accounts.

The User Exchange Mailbox doesn't exist and can't be added to the existing users. The only way so far I have found how to rectify it is to delete & recreate the account from scratch...

Any idea of a quicker way around this or how to solve this issue?

Ah. Do I risk account bulk re-creation??

Up to you, but I probably wouldn't even though it is a hassle doing it manually.

Thanks
Damn, thanks.
I found some useful links & it appears that specific users hadn't inherited the account defaults required.
