Configure Exchange email local delivery
We have an exchange 2010 email server and also use postini for email filtering. I want to know how i can configure exchange to send all emails through postini regardless of whether the email is being sent from a local account to another local account. Right now when i use my exchange account to send an email directly to my co-worker, it goes directly into their mailbox, i want that email to go out to Postini first and then come back to the mailbox.

The reason I want to do this is because I am migrating users from our current google apps account to the new exchange email server. I currently have dual delivery setup so mail coming in from the outside is being delivered to both google apps and exchange. However, if i use my exchange account to send an email to another internal employee, and they have not yet been migrated, then they will not get the email because the email goes directly to their exchange mailbox. If the email went out, then it would hit our Postini box and then get routed to both Google and Exchange for those users who have not been migrated.
Is there any other solution i can try to implement to help with this migration. Like i mentioned before, my main concern is users who have not been migrated to exchange will not receive emails sent from the exchange server.

The only way I can think of here is to configure Shared SMTP Namespace as per the following article:

This is for Exchange 2007, but pretty much the same as 2010.

We ended up leaving the configuring as is temporarily and went with another solution. We cancelled postini.

If you have 2 different e-mail server you could use a filter between them even in a local site, but the same issue would still occur on the local servers.
Why would you want your internal e-mails routed through a filter?
