Configuring separate send connectors for different domains in exchange 2010 hosted environment

Hi,

We have hosted 3 different domains in our hosted exchange 2010:
abc.com
123.com
xyz.in

For each domain we had configured different send connector as below:
abc.com will use the default send connector and sends mail through Exchange server's DNS resolution.(SMTP Address space is *, cost is 1)
123.com will use External-relay1 and smart hosts mail to external server 1 without smart host authentication. (SMTP Address space is *.123.com, cost is 1)
xyz.com will use External-relay2 and smart hosts mail to external server 2 with smart host authentication. (SMTP address space is *.xyz.com, cost is 1)

The problem is all the three domains are using the default send connector to send mails to external domains.
Kindly give me a solution so that particular domain should use the respective send connector to send external mails.

Thanks and regards.

Send connectors are defined for sending TO domain space not from.  What you have done, for example with external relay 2, is define an address space of *.xyz.com, indicating that ALL EMAILS GOING TO *.xyz.com should be routed through that send connector.

You can not define what send connector a specific internal domain users to send outgoing mail.

Hi Neilsr,

Thanks for your solution.

Is there any other way we can configure our requirement?

In our hosted exchange we have hosted multiple domains, we want to use different smart host server for different domains to send external mails.

Thanks.
