URGENT Outlook clients Cannot access exhange 2010 server

Came in yesterday to our mail server playing up outlook clients could not connect to it.
From the server console I can connect to it & use logmein, I can browse the web etc. but cannot VNC to it or get outlook client to connect, or connect via telnet.
the windows firewall has been turned off with all settings to allow no difference. I can also access webmail on the server console  but not from a pc.
All incoming connectivity is being blocked???
Has been escalated to Microsoft as business critical...still waiting, so I thought I'd better get the experts involved...come on guys don't let me down

Would you restart all Exchange services and check again. also do you have any HLB or NLB in between, if yes, restart that too and check.

Server has been restarted numerous times. Still the same.. can do anything from the server out but nothing inbound
 HLB NLB???
Domain controllers have been restarted as well
All other servers working fine....
HLB: Hardware load Balancer
NLB: Network Load Balancer

Normally there are two main reason for outlook connectivity issue:
1) DNS Setting or wrong Subnet
2) Office customization. (check if you have any .prf file in user machine, if yes open it with notepad and check which server it is pointing)

Starting check both these two items.

Also run ExBPA tool and check for any errors.

Can you connect to the server in any other way? Remote desktop, file shares etc.

If not, then it's nothing to do with Exchange. Windows Firewall or AntiVirus - or networking? Internal DNS?

Microsoft been on it 5 hours now......

Cant connect to it using telnet, RDP, VNC or via shares, butcan usingsing logmein
From the server I can RDP any other server, VNC any other server & access shares
That's a way MS burns customer hours.....escalate to next level engg....Tier3 or above...
already have done.....

Was a old group policy from way back when, which didnt know about Windows Server 2008 onwards
