Exchange 2010 - EAS not working for one user

Dear Experts

I have an Exchange 2010 environment. 3 servers, 3 sites.

i have one user who cannot sync his email data using exchange active sync.

i have tried:

2 android phones
2 nokia phones
resetting password
enabling EAS and disabling EAS
recycling IIS app pools on all 3 servers

everyone else works fine. even users in the same site as him.

any ideas??

Thanks Simon but that setting is already enabled...should i uncheck it, copy the current permissions to the object and then recheck it? will that not ruin the AD user object???? any other ideas???
@ Simon, how do i perform this step:

""""One additional step to perform -

Using ADSIEDIT.MSC don't forget to change "adminCount" to either 0 (zero) or to <not set>

According to numerous articles I've found, not resetting that value may cause the inherit rights to still change on the next cycle.""""
Is the admincount currently set?
That is the main reason why permissions get removed.

Simon.
Hi Simon, forgive my ignorance but I don't know how to use ADSIEdit, where about in ADSIEDIT do I check this???

in ADUC, i have unchecked the  ‘Include Inheritable Permissions From This Object’s Parent’ check box, copied the perms and then re checked it but i still cannot connect to the mailbox, what else can it be?????
What result do you get on https://testexchangeconnectivity.com for the problem user account?

Alan
is it safe for me to post the results here?? and should i just run the test for EAS or EAS Autodiscover
Yes - you can obscure the domain name / IP Address (or I can if you forget / miss something).

thank you so much Alan. Appreciate it.

will try your suggestions, any idea how I delete the test results above?
I can mask the bits you don't want on display.  Which bits?  Domain / IP?
yes please, ip addresses, and EWS urls
perfect Alan. Thanks.

with your help I eventually fixed the problem.

had to perform a combination of things:

in ADUC, i had to uncheck the  ‘Include Inheritable Permissions From This Object’s Parent’, copy permissions, then re-check

set admin count to 0 in the attribute properties of the AD object

and lastly

new-mailboxrepairrequest -mailbox "Username" -corruptiontype FolderView

Thanks again for all your help. much appreciated.
sorry forgot about Simon,

Thanks Simon for your help as well...greatly appreciated
