asked on

old Address list not updating on any outlook anywhere clients

Hello guys,

I need some help with a tricky address list.

Basically I deleted the address list, created a new one and I still see the old (not updated) address list. If I connect in OWA everything is ok,

Using Outlook 2010 or 2013 the same results.
Exchange 2010 on the server with custom Address Book Policies for each department.

Created multiple local profiles and also tried from multiple user accounts, same results.

What can we do?

Thanks,
Alex

Hello,

1 & 2. As you can see in the printscreen attached on outlook if I go to send and receive, download address book I can see the only the old address list.

If I go in exchange power shell and do get-address list, I cannot see the old address because I personally deleted it.

Outlook anywhere is not in sync with exchange server somehow. Created a lot of new profiles with more users. nothing changed.

3. Yes, with Update-OfflineAddressBook, even updated the server, we have this problem for many month

4. oab distribution:

Basically i tried all the methods described above and they did not worked for us.
After I fixed all the server settings we saw that nothing changed on the client side.
Next day everything was ok after we had reset the local profiles.
My final comment has the full details to resolve the problem.
