Outlook 2010 Via Citrix

Having a weird issue,  users who have been migrated to the new Exchange 2013 servers not not able to connect to their mailbox via citrix.  They get an error message (SEE PIC)

Odd thing is if this same user logins in to a workstation on the internal Network with either outlook 2010, 2013 it works just fine. My citrix admin assures me its not a citrix issue.

Every users I test internally works no matter the client but once citrix comes into play I get this issue....  Is it some sort or Authentication method maybe Citrix has a problem with or something on the Autodiscover settings?

Just from the picture, it looks like this is a local Outlook issue, on whatever platform it is that you're trying to run it. Can you give us some more details as to how this is all set up?

Exchange 2013 requires that Outlook 2010 has SP1 and "November 2012 update (14.0.6126.5000)" in order to function properly. A couple other things, when the user launches Outlook and you get the error message hold ctrl+right click the Outlook icon in the systemtray and select "connection status" what server/s is the client trying to connect to? Are you using cached mode for Outlook or Online mode? If you run Outlook directly on the Citrix server rather than the PNagent do you get the same error? If it works correctly directly on Citrix server then it is more than likely a Citrix Client issue.

ASKER

Outlook version 14.7106.5003

Fails both through RDP and PN Agent, it never gets far enough for it to load the Icon in the task tray for me to test connection.

In trying to setup the mail profile I get a green check for Establish Net Connection, Search for username@domain.com server settings, but Log on to Server is what give me the error.

In Ref to the environment I have a 2007/2013 exchange setup  I have migrated my mailbox to 2013 to test and fix issues such as these.  All users are still on 2007 and still routing to Owa.exch2007.com for mail etc.  The 2013 Environment has a new namespace Email.exch2013.com.  My cell is connected to exh2013 via active sync, I can access my mailbox via owa on exch2013.
When I click ok on the error is shows me a GUID@domain.com for Exch Server name
for mailbox I get =SMTP:username@domain.com
GUID is correct when you are using Exchange 2013. It is connecting directly to the mailbox as this is now how Exchange 2013 works. What about the other suggestions?

Ah yes see my post but Cached mode for all , I RDP to citrix box with my credentials that also fails and I tried to do manual to see how far I would get, results in previous post.  OUtlook doesn't get far enough doesn't get far enough in its loading process to give me access to the task try icon.

I don't get why this works outside of citrix...........

Troubleshooting step ,

1) try using RDP connection to Desktop , are they able to use ?
2) if ok try using citrix client launch desktop.

From your screen i believe it cannot retreive conrespponding mailbox located in servers acroding to the user name ...mostly u have to map the user 's mail box to the RDP/ICA  session.
The two changes I made were change auth to NTLM was on basic before.
I also made the Internal and external URL the same as well.  Once  those two changes were done I was able to login via citrix with no issues.
