'internal' mail to secondary email addresses bounce with Online Exchange
With our Online Exchange I have found that if someone from the local domain sends an email to a secondary address within the domain it bounces even although external mail to the secondary address is correctly delivered to the primary address.
To illustrate;
An account has primary address: primary@domain_name and a secondary address of secondary@domain_name
If someone with anyaddress@domain_name sends to secondary@domain_name they get a bounce message. However if anyone@another_domain sends to secondary@domain_name it correctly gets delivered to the primary address.
Is this behaviour correct? Can it be changed?
