Emails show up in OWA but not Outlook with Exchange 2010

I have a single user, that I know of , is missing emails from Outlook 2010 even though he can see them in OWA. I have used 2 different Outlook profiles (Citrix and my own PC) to verify that the emails couldn't be seen from there either unless view settings are part of the user's Exchange mailbox. He has a laptop so have not been able to access hi actual pc or reset his profile.

Thanks

No, I believe the View Settings follow the Outlook profile. Could be weird mailbox corruption. Do you have another database you could move his mailbox too? Normally moving mailboxes between databases will strip away any possible corruption. If not, maybe create a database for temporary purposes. Then move him to the database and then back to the original.
Update all Outlook related patches and check again.

Have the user come in to the IT center, assure apply all updates on the laptop OS and the laptop Office Product of "outlook" with true administrator privilieges and then reboot the laptop. If this does not work, then you may want to make a backup of the user's email by exporting to a .pst file and then delete the outlook profile on the laptop, and recreate the user's profile on the laptop, prior to having ensrued connectivity to the ADDS and appropriate updates to the server AD updates as well.
/agree with what Adam said...sounds like a corrupt .OST file.

Easiest way to fix that is to exit out of Outlook( and Lync if running) then delete the .OST file which is just a cache file of what is on the server anyway.

The location of the file on Win7 is here:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

Please do NOT delete the .PST file which is a mail file.

Deleting the profile and OST seemed to do the trick
