Adam

thank you for replying

Exchange Server is SP3 RU 8     is that the latest?

I run ORF Fusion  but I was getting this message before I put on ORF Fusion

I also Run Backup Assist which has an Exchange add in again was getting this message before I installed.

One note I did upgrade from Exchange 2007 to 2010 Could I have something from 2007 still hanging around.
The 2007 server has been uninstalled and removed from the network

I do see the ORF DLL's  in this list

Thoughts?
Disable the ORF transport agents, and then restart the MS Exchange Transport service. Test and monitor, but I have a feeling the ORF transport agents are causing this to crash out.

There are two listed above..

Vamsoft.ORF.TransportAgents.VSSmtpReceiveAgentFactory

Vamsoft.ORF.TransportAgents.VSRoutingAgentFactory
Adam

Sorry for the delay

I have not been able to disable the two above been getting hit with many spam emails lately if I turn them off my users will get bombed

Will try for one day soon.
It's fine, and I completely understand. It is possible that those two transport agents are causing the issue so I was going to recommend reinstalling them *but* I would rather verify first. It wont exactly hurt to reinstall them, just the possibility of spam getting in. I would contact the vendor to see what is the best "method" to going upon this.

Found this

http://vamsoft.com/support/docs/orf-help/5.3/ta-manage

Going to schedule this over the weekend alerted users to be aware of possible spam email over that time period.
Exchange 2010 Antispam function is on also that will help a little.

Disable-TransportAgent -Identity "Vamsoft.ORF.TransportAgents.VSSmtpReceiveAgentFactory"
Disable-TransportAgent -Identity "Vamsoft.ORF.TransportAgents.VSRoutingAgentFactory"

Restart-Service MSExchangeTransport

Will post results soon
