Question
Converting Outbound Documents to PDF
We want to use the Adobe PDF Generator to be able to intercept all outbound Word documents (Word for a start, maybe more types later) and convert them to PDF before dispatching the email.
The primary method of accessing the PDF Generator is to use a Web Service, though it is usable as a Java EJB. We'd like to use the Web Service.
What would we need to do on the Notes server to make this happen? Would we need to write code or can we attach some sort of filter to do it? I know all about the Adobe end of things, but on the Notes side I'm a total n00b. So, please be gentle.
I know there are other products on the market that will do this, but none of them are an option in this case. We must use PDF Generator.

I suggest this:
Change the mail template (what Notes version are you on?) so that the form Memo (Reply, ReplyWithHistory) does that conversion of attached file before sending it.
Then the propagation of design change:
The nightly Design task will change all other mail files if you ZIP your original Mail6.ntf (this is the name of mail template on LN version 6) and put the changed one in it's place.

I am not a Java expert, but I am pretty sure that between the Notes Java options and perhaps the C- API you should be able to connect to just about anything.
