I'm pretty sure that's supposed to work IF the admin ID being used for migration has manager access to the user NSF
I'm sure Perry or whoever you are working with or Vadim will respond to you quickly

Preserve read/unread info during migration from Domino to Exchange
We are using the Binary Tree CMT Tool to migrate mailboxes from Lotus Domino server to Exchange/Outlook 2007, but the unread mails in the Notes mailboxes changes to read in Exchange/Outlook 2007. How can the read/unread markings be preserved?

I suggest that you give the support for Binary Tree a call and ask for a solution. (You're already pay for the support...)
This is a really common problem when migrating from one email system to another and the Binary Tree support might already have a sollution for your problem.
