The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Copy fields to another database?

I have a very active inbox - but only a small subset of these emails are ones I have to take some kind of action on.  I have another database that I use to track these tasks, and usually I copy the body of the email into a richtext field in this database, complete a number of other fields that help me report later.  I want to have an agent that copies what it can from my inbox to this other database, and complete some of the other fields too.  My code is copied and modified from another database, that someone else wrote, that does a similar type of thing.  According to the debugger, it's failing on the very first line with "variant does not contain an object".  I've attached the code - and am asking for help with where you see obvious flaws.

I'm very comfortable with Notes & formula language, but a newbie at script, can read and understand what it's doing but am best with copying and modifiying.  Just can't see where the problem is here.Start Free Trial
