Configuring spam filter with sbs2003 server

I have a Baracuda Spam filter 310 and I have a single SBS2003 server. The SBS server is also the proxy, email and etc.. .i need to install the spam filter, but how can i install the barcuda when my isp t1 goes directly into the wan of the sbs server and is routed?

Unfortunately no, the only protection right now is the ISA built into it. Two nic scenario, one WAN t1 and one internal LAN.

You don't have to accept a comment that isn't helpful! You may ask for a refund if you don't get proper attention.

Very generally I thought most (software) SPAM filters installed in the mail server machine and put themselves between the NIC and the mail server service (so to speak) and this shouldn't really be affected by the fact that you are running a public IP on the WAN side; they act like "internal relays" with a filtering function. Of course the main server can't listen to the proper IP anymore, but to "localhost" or whatever the spam filter has for output interface.

My comment was triggered by the impression (correct, apparently) that you were running a windows server directly on the public IP (I wouldn't dare do that) and that I didn't really grasp how the setup looked.
