The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Dnsreport warning error message needs to be fixed.  I think some people are not getting emails due to this.

I get this error on dnsreport.com.  So far I've only been able to find solutions for ms exchange server people and not exim/pop3 centos unix folks.

WARNING: One or more of your mailservers is claiming to be a host other than what it really is (the SMTP greeting should be a 3-digit code, followed by a space or a dash, then the host name). If your mailserver sends out E-mail using this domain in its EHLO or HELO, your E-mail might get blocked by anti-spam software. This is also a technical violation of RFC821 4.3 (and RFC2821 4.3.1). Note that the hostname given in the SMTP greeting should have an A record pointing back to the same server. Note that this one test may use a cached DNS record.

allwebnow.com claims to be host classic31.allwebnow.com [but that host is at 216.83.111.31 (may be cached), not 216.83.111.58]. <br />

Here are my txt records currently.
allwebnow.com. txt "v=spf1 mx a:classic31.allwebnow.com mx:allwebnow.com ?all"
sarc12a-216-83-111-58.sniparpa.net txt "v=spf1 a ~all"

So far my dns A record is setup as my dedicated 216.83.111.58 IP.  I need to somehow set it up so email is sent using the main shared IP as well as my dedicated ip's on that server as well.  Is this even possible?

Please let me know what I need to do to fix this.
