I have an outlook 2003 .pst-fiel (archive). Now I'm installing office 2007 and when I wan't to open the pst file it says that it is not a pst-file and can't be opened. When opening in office 2003 there is no problem, only when opening in office 2007

Unless you are doing something different, if not, most of the time, you'll be able to open any type of PST created by earlier version of Ms Outlook (97/2002/2003) using Microsoft Outlook 2007

Did you copy the PST file from another computer? If so, make sure it is not write protected. Right click on the file and select Properties. Uncheck "Read Only". Click OK. Then test to see it will open.
If no joy, repair PST by running ScanPST for Outlook 2007

Open .pst files in Outlook Office Outlook 2007
A .pst file that was created in any Outlook version can be opened and used with Office Outlook 2007. No special conversions are needed.
To open a .pst file, do the following:
On the File menu, point to Open, and then click Outlook Data File.
Click the .pst file that you want to open, and then click OK.
The name of the folder that is associated with the data file appears in the Folder List. To view the Folder List, on the Go menu, click Folder List. By default, the folder will be called Personal Folders.
