Hi,
I have attached the assp.cfg file (renamed to assp.txt) that I use at my place of work. I have changed the domain name, password and IP's but other than that its what we're currently using. There are a lot of options and it does take quite some time to adjust them. You could probably look through the config file for ideas. There's not really a simple solution . I arrived at this configuration after spending quite some time making small adjustments and observing how it affected email. We have a fairly large whitelist that helps ensure we don't lose any email. I also use LDAP to verify valid email accounts (we use Windows 2003 SBS for our domain/mail server) and I also have ClamAV scanning for viruses.
We still get some spam come in, but its very small. About 5 to 10 a day out of about 1000 to 2000 that try to enter. I dont use the redlisting much at all and we only have a small number of blacklisted entries (only about 4 or 5)
Hope this helps,
Andrew
