Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. We used to host our web site in our network. Now a 3rd party company hosts the site.
There is a customer inquiry form that generates an email. Internally there was not a problem for the sender email to be : Sales@domain.com to User@domain.com. Now that is hosted externally our barracuda Spam firewall is blocking those emails due to avoiding spoofing. I asked the developer to change the source address to come from a different domain. He says that it would not look professional to do it that way. I do not want to explicitly allow the IP address of the server that is coming from because there is a risk if that server ever gets compromised and we start getting tons of spam and junk.
Do you have any idea how to allow this form to be sent from domain.com to domain.com?
