Is it possible to run Windows or Windows apps on an IBM server running AIX as the operating system? No. There have been attempts to do this in the past (eg SoftWindows) but performance and support were major issues. Is it possible to access the disk space on an AIX server from a PC running Windows? Yes - Windows can access filesystems exported by AIX via NFS or you could install SAMBA on the AIX server for "native" Windows access.
