The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

OWA 2007 Address Book Skips Pages

Asked by jdipboye in Exchange Email Server, Email Software, Email Servers

My company recently went to Exchange 2007 from another e-mail system (GroupWise - but I'm 100% confident that is irrelevant).

We added all our users into Exchange 2007 from Active Directory, and using Outlook 2007 address book, they all show up fine.  Even using the OWA Address Book, you can search for anyone and find them.

The problem is for when our users want to PAGE through the Address Book using Next Page / Previous Page.

Here is a more detailed explanation, so you know exactly what I'm talking about:

We have about 400 e-mail addresses.  OWA Address Book allows you to see 50 at a time.  Page 1 shows A-Bs, Page 2 shows B-Cs, Page 3 shows C-Ds, but once you go to Page 4, it skips to the S-Ts.  Then page 5 (end of list) shows U-Zs.

You can hit Previous Page and go from U-Zs (Page 5), to S-Ts (Page 4), then Page 3 will show N-S, and then page 2 goes back to the B-Cs like it originally did, Page 1 A-Bs.

Knowing a small amount about programming, I've tested a few things in hopes of being able to debug it better, and my only 'educated guess' about the problem is that it might have to do with the fact that it always skips when you're getting to the 2nd to last page (or the last FULL page).  I have looked at all the resources I know of and can not find any information about this problem.

Thank you for your help.
