I forgot to mention the following which may contribute to the issue -
I am using PATMEDIA's mail server to send mail. However, my ISP is with Roadrunner. I recently moved and forgot that this is the case. I am still using a PATMEDIA email address and host (the account is still active), but my ISP is not with PATMEDIA anymore. I have a feeling that this is part of the issue. How do I handle this situation? When I go to authenticate what user name and password should I use? Patmedia's or roadrunners?

Your service provider might require authentication for mail sent from an external client. Have you checked to see if that's the case?
