How to find LDAP search string on Windows 2003

Hi

I need help finding out what my LDAP search string is - we recently purchased a photocopier which also has the ability to scan and email the scan onto a user - instead of entering everyones email address into the machine I would like to enter our LDAP server (windows 2003 SBS active directory server) search string into into it to do this automatically - any ideas / suggestions??
