The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

Folder Redirection

Hello,

OS=Microsoft 2003 Enterprise R2

I have another open question going that explains what my intentions are.  You can see what I've done on this other post, no one seems to be answering...

 I thought folder redirection was working but jumped the gun when I replied to the post and said it was working when it really wasn't.  If someone could help me finish setting this up I would appreciate it.  My other question shows why I need folder redirection.  I created an OU called test.  The setup roaming and home profiles for the two users (they're functioning) I put two users in there test and test2.  I also created a security group called testgroup with test and test2 as members.  I right click on the OU test, click properties, and open group policy management.  Do I add another GPO and call it TEST, work off of that or use Default Domain Policy or  I'm confused once I get to this point.  I understand how to set the folder direction (example \\server1\mydocs$) but nothing is implying, when I log a test user in.   Could someone give me a straightforward step by step process.  What needs to be enforced, linked etc.  Do I need to do a gpupdate /force afterwards?    I'm near the end of my implementation, this is the final steps.   Any help is appreciated.....
